Lewis, Dave, and the rest team at Old Carter Barn were absolutely wonderful! They guided us through the rehearsal with such care and attention, ensuring every detail was perfect and the day ran smoothly.
The entire venue was impeccably clean, especially the spacious bridal suites, which were perfect for getting ready comfortably! My husband and I got married on October 11, 2025 and I don’t even know where to begin…. when it came to start looking for a venue We knew we wanted a barn. So we went on google and Old Carter Barn came up and We instantly fell in love with just looking at the pictures(the mixed match chairs is what really caught our eye!)

From the first appointment, everything in between such as scheduling multiple in person visits to the venue, answering all our questions we had very quickly, giving us a recommendation vendor list to find the best vendors, giving us suggestions to make sure our big day went smoothly and perfect(and it did), to be able to use all their wonderful decorations that they had, and the make sure the weekend/day of went perfect. Dave and the other workers were absolutely amazing right from start to finish. They were so helpful and I can’t thank them enough and appreciate them for everything they did!

We did the package for the whole weekend and we had our rehearsal dinner at the barn the night before. We came up early Friday afternoon and Dave was there setting up heaters so we stayed warm and was there for anything else we needed. The night of the rehearsal we walked us through every step to make sure the day of would go perfect and was right. The morning of the wedding another worker was there setting up the tables and all other decorations that needed to be placed in their spots, she was very helpful with other things we needed help with and was so kind. At the end of the night Dave helped with cleaning up and keeping all our belongings together for the next morning when we were able to pick it back up!

Our ceremony was down by the lake and that spot was absolutely beautiful!

I would 100% recommend Old Carter Barn to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding and I can’t thank everyone enough who was involved in making our day the best day ever!!

Our wedding day at Old Carter Barn was nothing short of magical. The venue itself is absolutely stunning — spacious, warm, and breathtaking the moment you walk in. The barn truly took our breath away.

Dave was the absolute best. He made our entire day run smoothly from start to finish, went above and beyond for us, and was so involved in every detail. By the end of the night, he genuinely felt like a best friend — celebrating with us while still being right there anytime we needed anything. His professionalism and kindness were unmatched.

Lewis was incredibly responsive during the planning process and truly welcoming. You can tell he knows his guests and cares about every couple who walks through the doors.

Even though rain kept us from using the outdoor ceremony spot (which is gorgeous!), the team quickly transformed the indoor space, and it was just as beautiful and intimate.

Old Carter Barn genuinely catered to our guests’ needs and helped make our wedding unforgettable. We would recommend this venue to absolutely anyone looking for the perfect place to celebrate their special day.

My now husband and I got married here on 10/05/2025 and we couldn't have picked a better venue! Throughout the day we got so many compliments about choosing Old Carter Barn for our special day, and it absolutely was a gorgeous scenic spot. Throughout the planning phase they are there for every step of the way and communication was super super easy. If I had a question all I had to do was send a message and they were always quick with a response, I didn't have to worry about waiting for weeks to hear back. We also were able to schedule in-person visits or phone consults as needed which made the process smooth. Questions were always answered, they were more than willing to help if needed, for example we were provided a list of recommended vendors which really helped in the planning process. Throughout the day there was always someone nearby helping out and making sure the day was going as smoothly as possible. One of the lovely staff members in the morning even helped as much as she could with set-up. She was sweet, caring, and overall an amazing help. Almost forgot to mention, the ceremony spot in front of the water was the absolute most beautiful spot! I was so impressed with the venue I was even recommending them to people before our big day and I'll definitely recommend them to anyone in the future, I would 10000% hold another event here in the future if I ever needed to!

Fantastic venue! As a vendor who has done several bartending jobs here, I highly recommend them to host any prospective event. Dave and Caleigh are superstars and will tend to every need. We instantly fell in love with Old Carter Barn the moment we visited. The classic barn charm is unmatched, and the gorgeous lakeside ceremony site with the gazebo was absolutely picture perfect—it felt like stepping right into a storybook. We can’t rave enough about how easy Dave and Lewis make everything from start to finish. Their attention to detail and genuine care make the whole planning process seamless and stress-free. On top of all that, the venue is an unbeatable price, especially considering the little touches they take care of to ensure your special day is everything you dreamed of and more. Old Carter Barn & the family are the best. Dave is the heart of it all, really good guy. He will go above and beyond to make your day the best day. Lewis & everyone else are great at communicating too. I'd say we had the perfect day. It felt like home, the ambience of the barn is like none other.
